Join Lane Valente Industries as an Automated Access Systems Technician! At Lane Valente Industries, we're an esteemed international construction and facility maintenance company, known for our dedicated team of field technicians serving prominent U.S. corporations. As an Automated Access Systems Technician, you will need to possess a blend of skills and knowledge: PROFICIENT KNOWLEDGE: Carpentry - framing with metal/wood studs, installing basic cabinetry/countertops, and fitting doors/windows. Painting - both interior and exterior applications. Flooring - installing VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base. BASIC KNOWLEDGE: Plumbing - replacing/installing sinks, faucets, toilets, and basic drainage/water lines (licensed plumbers are encouraged to apply). Electrical - replacement/installation of light fixtures, switches, and outlets, capable of basic data connections and diagnosing minor electrical issues (licensed electricians welcome). HVAC - understanding refrigeration and PM service calls. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Install door frames, rails, steel rolling curtains, electronic-eye mechanisms, and electric door openers and closers using power and hand tools. Repair and maintain mechanical equipment; service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment. Engage in commercial renovations and buildouts. Utilize basic computer skills. Adhere to OSHA requirements. Present a professional demeanor and cultivate customer relationships. Be detail-oriented in repairs, including measurements, documenting with pictures, and providing recommendations for repairs and quotes. Flexibility to work overtime and on-call as needed, especially during emergencies. JOB REQUIREMENTS: At least 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance. A High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Reliable transportation is a must. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record as per company policy. Willingness to travel and work overnight shifts when necessary. Basic construction hand tools should be supplied by the applicant. Completion of OSHA 10-hour training (if not already completed, it will be covered by the company within the first 3 months of employment). BENEFITS OFFERED: Medical Insurance. Dental Insurance.
