Environmental Cleaning Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a Environmental Cleaning Specialist to work in our Compactor/Chute Cleaning to maintain a clean and safe environment in our building. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the compactor and maintaining the trash chute and compactor room. Responsibilities: -Operate the compactor and ensure all trash from the building is properly disposed of. -Maintain the trash chute and compactor room to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. -Perform preventative maintenance of the compactor and report any issues or needed repairs to maintenance personnel. -Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed, including sweeping and mopping of common areas. -Observe all safety guidelines and protocol while operating compactor and chute. Qualifications: -Previous experience operating a trash compactor and working with garbage disposal equipment -Attention to detail and ability to keep work area clean and organized -Ability to regularly lift and stand for extended periods of time -Able to communicate effectively and follow instructions reliably.
