About the Role: The Automotive Parts Specialist is a professional-level sales position that drives the success of our DIY business. In this role, you will leverage your expert knowledge of automotive systems and store processes to assist customers effectively. Key Responsibilities Include: Delivering top-notch service to DIY customers, ensuring a great shopping experience. Meeting and exceeding personal and store sales goals. Managing DIY services such as battery installation and testing. Maintaining high standards of customer service and a clean store environment. Executing key holder responsibilities, including task assignment and opening/closing duties. Additional Responsibilities: Assisting with inventory processes, including put-away, cycle counts, and stock management. Ensuring cleanliness throughout the store. Providing hands-on DIY services as needed. What You Bring to the Table: Friendly and effective communication skills. Proficiency in locating and stocking parts accurately. Strong safety knowledge and skills. Expertise in using inventory systems and store equipment. Advanced skills in parts lookup and sourcing. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Basic math proficiency and strong organizational abilities. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in automotive parts or a related field. Demonstrated sales ability and a passion for customer service. A valid driver's license is required; ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory. Physical Demands: This role may require physical activities associated with retail operations.
