Overview of Job Function: The Account Executive plays a crucial role in driving business growth within assigned accounts, focusing on developing new business and expanding existing product lines. This position is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and selling Verint solutions while nurturing effective relationships within the designated territory. As the owner of account strategy, you will create and implement plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals, while collaborating with various internal departments, including Pre-Sales, Sales Operations, and Customer Support. Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities: Implement the company's sales strategies to achieve established quotas by exploring business opportunities via targeted account prospecting and territory management. Lead regular calls and assign responsibilities to virtual team members, ensuring accountability. Develop strong executive relationships, deeply understanding client business needs and objectives. Stay informed about relevant account developments, navigate the corporate landscape, and map our solutions to support client goals. Manage and grow the sales pipeline, taking responsibility for both closing existing opportunities and identifying new prospects within Verint's key accounts. Effectively interact with accounts through various communication methods, including face-to-face meetings, conference calls, and email correspondence. Assess customer needs and present tailored solutions, working closely with Solutions Engineers as needed. Serve as the primary contact for customer support escalation, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers and prospects. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, strategizing ways to maximize revenue from increased product usage. Provide accurate and timely updates to the sales management team, including weekly/monthly forecasts, pipeline status, and prospecting results. Regularly update the company's sales database with current account activities and statuses. Maintain ongoing knowledge of Verint products, technology, and industry trends. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Five (5) years of sales experience with a successful record in selling high-value, complex enterprise software or services. Demonstrated and proven sales track record of achieving quotas. Ability to effectively identify business opportunities, conduct needs analyses, and close sales with targeted accounts. Strong professional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect with senior executives. Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to qualify prospects operationally and financially. Willingness to travel approximately 50-75% of the time. Successful completion of a background screening process, including employment verifications and criminal searches, in compliance with regulations. Ability to obtain required credit lines for travel purposes. Preferred Requirements: Familiarity with ROI business process sales engagements and tools. Background in Workforce Management or CRM/ERP software is highly desirable. Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience preferred.
