Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Paint Consultant, where you'll be instrumental in building and nurturing relationships with PBE customers to drive consistent and profitable sales growth. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with color formula lookups and mixing custom OEM colors. You will provide top-notch technical assistance and utilize PBE sales tools to ensure both retail and professional clients receive exceptional service. If you're bilingual, we encourage you to apply! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop strong relationships with retail and professional PBE customers. Provide expert color matching and product selection advice. Identify OEM paint codes, enter formulas into our retrieval system, and mix paint per manufacturer specifications. Utilize color matching tools and maintain a clean, safe mixing environment. Manage all PBE inventory, including stock management and monthly cycle counts. Implement a weekly call schedule and provide summaries to management. Coordinate delivery routes with the Installer Service Specialist for efficiency. Promote customer service programs and ensure all customers receive the best service. Gather necessary information for labor claims or warranty cases. Assist in training store team members on PBE sales and technical queries. Maintain communication with contracted customers about their account statuses. Stay updated on PBE industry news and compliance regulations. Utilize current sales tools to enhance customer engagement. Ensure competitive pricing for professional customers, maximizing profits. Provide friendly customer service by greeting walk-in clients and assisting with merchandise selection. Process transactions efficiently, including cash, checks, and credit cards. Handle merchandise returns and customer complaints with professionalism. Assist with daily store operations, including stock adjustments and clerical work. Work collaboratively with Territory Sales Managers to deliver superior service. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Exceptional customer service abilities. Capable of multitasking with customers in-store and over the phone. Preferred: Knowledge or experience in automotive paint and bodywork. Technical schooling is advantageous. Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired.
