Our projects range from developing a canonical implementation of core components for data planes to creating remote persistent storage solutions that match the latency and performance of local nVME drives. In this role, you will help define and govern OCI-wide programs aimed at improving organizational engineering standards and processes. Who are we looking for? As the Senior Manager for Overlay Program Management, you will lead the Overlay Programs team focused on designing, executing, and governing initiatives that unify best practices and processes across OCI organizations. Your mission will be to collaborate with leaders, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives that significantly impact multiple domains. This leadership role is essential for driving alignment and fostering collaboration without needing direct authority. Your team will manage the full lifecycle of complex overlay initiatives, ensuring strategic programs support OCI’s growth and engineering excellence. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical and program management expertise, alongside exceptional communication skills and a talent for relationship building. Your passion for operational excellence and ability to navigate complex organizational structures will be critical in developing high-performing teams. You will act as a strategist, consultant, and implementer, making sure the organization remains agile, supporting executive-level decision-making. Responsibilities: Lead OCI overlay program strategy, focusing on organization-wide processes and engagement. Launch and manage cross-functional overlay initiatives, defining KPIs and reporting to executive sponsors. Spearhead process and tooling initiatives to improve operational consistency across teams. Mentor and grow a team of technical program managers to align with overlay program goals. Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to facilitate cooperation and adoption across diverse teams. Enhance stakeholder engagement and collaboration to drive overlay program success with measurable impact. Qualifications: Proven ability to navigate and influence across organizational boundaries. Experience in conflict resolution. Attention to detail with structured and creative problem-solving skills. Experience in managing multiple, matrixed teams and initiatives. Preferred direct people management and mentoring experience. Excellent communicator with strong executive presence. Adaptable with a focus on driving productive efficiency. Background in planning and leading strategic, organization-wide initiatives. Strong project reporting skills, emphasizing cross-organizational communication. Technical knowledge of cloud technologies and industry best practices. Range and Benefits: US: Hiring Range in USD from: $118,500 to $251,600 per annum. Eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
