Manufacturing Engineering Techncian

Cadence Inc in Sturgeon Bay, WI is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support our growing operations. This role serves as the key connection between Engineering, NPI, and Production-ensuring equipment runs efficiently, processes are production-ready, and new products transition smoothly into manufacturing. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime Program and set up CNC mills, lathes, robots, and related machinery based on blueprints and 3D models Validate and test machine programs for accuracy and performance Partner closely with the NPI (New Product Introduction) team early in development to create manufacturing processes that are practical, efficient, and operator-friendly Lead the handoff of new processes from NPI to production, ensuring documentation, readiness, and operator training are complete Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cost Conduct inspections and testing to ensure products meet quality standards Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and maintenance documentation Train and support production operators on equipment and process changes Collect and analyze production data to drive continuous improvement Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements Work closely with the NPI team early in development to align with production operator needs. What You Bring Highschool degree or equivalent and technical or associate program encouraged. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC, robotics, or automation preferred) Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude Experience supporting NPI launches and production process development Ability to develop clear, operator-ready work instructions Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Experience with CNC programming and machine setup Working knowledge of quality systems and inspection methods Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork Why Cadence Inc?
