Responsibilities: Engage with healthcare providers to discuss product offerings tailored to their needs while upholding compliance and ethical standards. Drive sales performance to meet or surpass forecasts. Utilize assigned budgets effectively to achieve therapeutic and territorial goals. Stay informed about the local market, practice structures, and key influencers, sharing insights with Ascendis stakeholders. Collaborate with customers to understand their practices and identify business opportunities. Utilize analytical tools to assess business performance and strategize for achieving sales objectives ethically. Work with leadership to create comprehensive business plans for sales objectives and formulary approvals. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure resources are effectively delivered in your territory. Exhibit administrative excellence in managing work hours, reporting sales data, and handling expenses. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in specialty sales, preferably in rare diseases and injectables; experience in adult endocrinology is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment; start-up experience is favored. Experience with complex distribution systems and HUB services for a seamless customer experience. Proven track record of strong sales performance. Experience in launching new products is advantageous. Experience with patient services in distribution HUBs and specialty pharmacies. Self-starter with excellent decision-making abilities and a strong ethical foundation. Ability to work collaboratively across various functions. Experience in the specialty drug environment (rare/orphan diseases) to meet patient needs compliantly. Ability to create effective business plans based on customer and patient insights. Competence in analyzing data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities. Skilled in establishing and nurturing customer relationships while effectively communicating technical information. Must meet all credentialing requirements and maintain compliance with updates. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required. Willingness to travel overnight when necessary. The annual base salary for this role is $190,000. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications, skills, and performance. Additional benefits may include a company car or allowance and commission/bonus opportunities based on individual and company performance.
