Position Overview: This Family Services Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to provide compassionate support, advocacy, and resources to individuals and families facing challenges. Education A bachelor's degree in Family Services, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field is required. Candidates must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association) certification either prior to employment or within 30 days of hire and maintain current status throughout employment. Experience and Skills Proven ability to build rapport and consult effectively with medical and health center staff at all levels. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Strong socialization skills with the ability to interact appropriately with diverse clientele, even under stressful conditions. Exemplifies a stable lifestyle and personality, free from psychological or substance abuse impairments that could impact job performance. Willingness to participate in formal, independent psychological evaluations if concerns arise. Competence in writing psychological reports and utilizing documentation systems relevant to the role. Adherence to personnel policies and a commitment to fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.
