The Global Client Relationship Manager (GCRM) plays a crucial role in driving new revenue by selling high bandwidth IP transit services and value-added services to ISPs and Internet-centric firms globally. This position emphasizes acquiring new business and requires thorough analysis of technical and commercial proposals. As a GCRM, you may also work with existing clients, managing all their account needs. Your focus will be to increase revenue while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction by collaborating closely with various teams within the GIN ecosystem. You will lead strategies to enhance customer engagement and coordination across teams. Your Responsibilities: Drive incremental sales to meet monthly targets. Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial service proposals. Cultivate strong relationships with key executives and stakeholders in prospect and customer organizations. Foster collaboration with NTT international affiliate companies. Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Solutions, Order Management, Operations, and other teams to ensure meaningful customer experiences. Develop a strategic sales plan aligned with departmental objectives. Monitor and report on ongoing activities related to the sales plan. Travel up to 50% as necessary. Complete additional tasks as assigned. Ideal Candidates Will Have: Experience selling high-capacity IP transit connections to sectors such as gaming, hosting, CDN, and OTT. 3-5 years of high-tech sales experience, preferably in wholesale bandwidth sales. Understanding of IP transit networks and their unique technical needs. Knowledge of major global IP networks, service providers, Ethernet services, CDN, and DDoS services. Insight into the strengths and weaknesses of various providers. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferable. Key Skills and Competencies: Familiarity with IP Transit network technical requirements. Ability to develop complex multi-component business solutions in the Technology/ISP sectors. Understanding of the technologies and economics of the Internet. A proven record of exceeding sales quotas. Effectively communicate with senior management both internally and externally. Prepare and present professional customer proposals independently. Work efficiently with finance, sales engineering, legal, and IP engineering teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work outside standard 9am-6pm hours as needed. Working Conditions: This position is remote, with travel required for company meetings and client engagements. Flexibility to work outside of standard hours may be necessary to support our global team. Compensation for this remote role ranges from $75,000 to $120,000, reflecting the target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. The role may also be eligible for performance-related incentive compensation.
