Exciting Opportunity for a Polysomnographic Technologist! Join our dedicated team as we seek a skilled and experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a full-time night shift position in our sleep lab located in Columbus, Ohio. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate polysomnographic tests and ensure accurate data collection. Prepare and calibrate equipment, applying electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks according to established protocols. Monitor patient activities, record study quality, and document clinical events such as respiratory and cardiac episodes. Score clinical events and organize data for physician review. Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols to ensure compliance. Qualifications: High school diploma or higher; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program required. Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is mandatory. Prior experience as an RPSGT or RRT in a sleep lab setting is preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; operate equipment with hands. Capability to lift and/or move weights up to 50 pounds when necessary. Other Requirements: Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.
