How would you contribute? This role is a contributing member of our Airlite - Omaha team, located in Omaha, NE. As a Sr. Manager Accounting & Treasury Operations you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. The Senior Manager, Accounting and Treasury Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing the company's end-to-end accounting and treasury operations administration, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management functions. This role blends operational excellence with strategic leadership, driving continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and the effective application of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI). Essential Duties: Accounting & Treasury Operations Oversee all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, credit policies, collections, and customer account risk management. Review customer accounts on bad-debt watch lists and make data-driven recommendations for resolution and mitigation. Lead accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant vendor payments and expense reporting. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve cash flow, accelerate collections, and optimize payables timing. Facilitate banking relationships and serve as a key point of contact for treasury and financial institutions. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, audits, and tax filings as required. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Ensure strong internal controls are in place to prevent fraud, unauthorized payments, and compliance violations. Proactively identify operational and financial risks and recommend corrective actions. Innovation, Process Transformation & Technology Enablement. Continuously evaluate accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury processes to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency. Remain current on emerging trends in accounting technology (including AI) with relation to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury operations. Recommend and implement AI-enabled and automated solutions to improve accuracy, reduce manual effort, and enhance decision-making. Assist or lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives aligned with business strategy. Do you have what it takes? Minimum of five (5) years' experience managing treasury and/or accounting functions. Manufacturing industry experience preferred. Strong proficiency in various ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Experience with Accounts Payable imaging platforms such as Concur Invoice preferred. Demonstrated experience leading or participating in process improvement and change initiatives. Supervisory Responsibilities: Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of direct reports. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, and goal setting for employees; planning and assigning work; appraising performance; rewarding and leading employees; addressing conflict resolution and providing workforce success opportunities for team members. Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hand dexterity to operate office equipment including computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office work environment is typically quiet; when visiting the production floor the noise level may be loud.
