Job ID: 2503884 Role Summary/Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP, Model Validation and Validation Center of Excellence to join our team. This pivotal role will focus on validating fraud models and ensuring compliance with MRM policies, standards, and regulations (SR 11-7). You will play a key role in establishing a Validation Center of Excellence (CoE) to enhance our model governance practices, drive innovation, and improve the stakeholder experience. Essential Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take on the following key areas: Model Validation CoE: Establish a leading-edge Validation Center of Excellence to drive best practices in fraud model validation. GEN AI Model Risk Management: Create a governance framework for Generative AI models, ensuring standards and procedures effectively manage model risks. Quality Assurance and Capacity Planning: Develop and maintain thorough quality assurance processes, proactively identifying improvement opportunities. Strategy & Innovation: Innovate validation processes, exploring and leveraging Generative AI capabilities to boost efficiency and effectiveness. Model Validation: Oversee all fraud model risk management efforts, manage project timelines, and ensure completion with minimal guidance. Qualifications/Requirements: 5+ years of experience in fraud model development or validation within financial services, preferably with CI/CD frameworks. Experience in generative AI model validation and complex use case development. Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field; or 9+ years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience with Python, SPARK, Data Lake, AWS SageMaker, and similar tools. Expertise in applying US regulatory requirements for Model Risk Management. Desired Characteristics: Strong knowledge of Model Risk Management regulations with a proven record of compliance. Experience in project management and developing actionable plans. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Eligibility Requirements: Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to undergo a background investigation.
