Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care RN to enhance our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in inpatient and approved surgical and ambulatory care settings. Collaborate with a fantastic team dedicated to excellent patient care. In this position, you will: Demonstrate proficiency in applying the nursing process. Conduct assessments and interventions for patients with wound and ostomy care needs. Change dressings for patients utilizing Vacuum Assisted Closure (VAC) devices. Implement patient care plans effectively. Assist in managing pressure ulcers and other skin problems. Support Wound & Ostomy CNSs with quality improvement initiatives and clinician education. Job Requirements: Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Valid Florida RN license required; multistate RN license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start date. Preferably completed certification requirements for enterostomal therapy. Minimum 3 years hospital experience in Acute Care preferred. Previous teaching experience preferred.
