Director of Global Site Selection

We are looking for a dedicated and results-oriented professional to take on the role of Director of Global Site Selection. In this position, you will conduct in-depth market research, perform global analytics, and identify key site opportunities that will drive our company's growth. Your main responsibilities will include negotiating commercial terms with data center operators and developing complex lease agreements and legal documents. You will manage a variety of agreements, including Master Service Agreements, NRC service orders, new leases, renewals, operating agreements, and amendments. Collaboration is critical in this role, as you will work closely with capacity planning, design, engineering, construction, legal, security, compliance, and operations teams. You will also prepare and present investment proposals and updates, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned throughout each project. We are seeking a candidate with exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, analytical skills, and a genuine passion for achieving results. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in site selection for large-scale projects, coupled with a strong foundation in real estate evaluation and contracts. 5+ years of relevant experience and a BA/BS degree. Advanced skills in Excel for precise data analysis. Thorough knowledge of the Data Center industry and its market dynamics. Proven track record in leading contract negotiations, with a solid grasp of real estate development. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment. Willingness to travel globally, dedicating approximately 50% of your time to data center evaluations. Responsibilities: Oversee the execution of leases from initial requirements to availability, ensuring performance metrics are met. Manage multiple lease projects by coordinating efforts with internal teams and external partners. Collaborate with capacity planners to gather insights on specific site requirements. Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate and recommend lease agreements. Create strategic metro plans that align with market conditions and business objectives. Facilitate the preparation of lease documents through internal collaboration. Conduct comprehensive market research on targeted regions and emerging locations. Provide analytical support for market strategies and project timelines.
