Job Summary We are seeking a Logistics Data Specialist to play a pivotal role in harnessing and analyzing data from various sources to ensure data integrity and reliability. This role entails gathering diverse data, normalizing it, and delivering insightful analysis that supports our operations. Key Responsibilities Act as a key resource for assigned clients, providing expert guidance. Collect and organize raw data; conduct research on industry trends; and standardize data into a unified format. Prepare comprehensive spreadsheets and reports that include charts, graphs, mailing lists, and maps. Define data terms and document any limitations relevant to data usage. Offer recommendations based on analytical findings. Contribute to the formulation of policies and procedures. Engage in departmental and cross-departmental projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field. 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 2-4 years of experience. Problem-solving aptitude for complex situations and the ability to make informed decisions with incomplete information. Proven capacity to work independently, crafting solutions with minimal oversight. Experience in managing projects, including evaluation of progress and outcomes. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical analyst capacity. Proficient in logistics processes related to warehouse operations and distribution. Experience with data acquisition and analysis across extensive multi-system enterprises. Familiarity with data rationalization and definitions. Strong proficiency in Excel.
