Aviation Project Manager Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Aviation Project Manager to join our dynamic construction and program management team at our international airport facility. In this role, you will manage the implementation of multiple airside and landside Capital Projects, ensuring successful delivery from design through construction. Duties/Responsibilities: Oversee the execution of multiple concurrent aviation projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines. Provide leadership during project design development, through to construction phases, acting as the primary point of contact. Establish and maintain effective communication through consistent documentation of meeting minutes and project records. Collaborate with various airport divisions and regulatory agencies, including FAA and TSA, to ensure compliance and support project objectives. Manage communication and coordination with utility companies and public/private oversight agencies. Apprehend various project delivery methods including design-bid-build and design-build, applying knowledge effectively. Implement rigorous quality control measures in administration, design, and construction processes. Handle requests for information, submittals, and shop drawings, ensuring clarity and precision. Prepare comprehensive Project Management Plans and meticulously monitor budgets, contracts, billing, and schedules. Ensure the effective execution of the Quality Program throughout the project lifecycle. Critically assess project reports and findings, and adapt project approaches as necessary. Serve as the chief liaison between clients and project teams, leading proposal developments and meetings. Maintain vigilance over safety compliance, providing oversight to contractor safety practices. Oversee project closeout administration to ensure all project components are finalized satisfactorily. Develop and nurture positive relationships with clients, contractors, officials, and stakeholders. Exemplify core values in daily actions while promoting a culture of teamwork and positivity. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required. A valid PE license is mandatory. 8-10 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on aviation engineering. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous. Proficient knowledge of FAA funding, guidelines, and airport construction safety plans is essential. Demonstrated experience in designing, managing, and estimating aviation projects for airport agencies. Extensive understanding of FAA Airport Circulars and airport project management standards.
