We are excited to offer you a position in our Insurance Tax practice as a Manager, focusing on captive insurance tax engagements. In this role, you will collaborate with dedicated professionals in the insurance field, engaging in feasibility studies and optimization projects for captive insurance, as well as tax consulting engagements. Your Key Responsibilities As a Tax Manager, you will navigate multiple responsibilities in a high-performing environment. Your primary duties will include: Overseeing the preparation and delivery of captive insurance feasibility studies and utilization projects. Managing the creation of captive insurance tax consulting memos and tax opinions. Building and nurturing effective client relationships. Managing staffing and engagement economics while analyzing results to continually enhance client service for our insurance clients. Skills and Attributes for Success To qualify for this role, you must possess: A Bachelor's Degree. A CPA or a licensed Attorney. Experience or knowledge related to captive insurance companies. 5-10 years of experience in accounting or taxation for insurance companies. Ideally, you will also have: Understanding of GAAP/statutory accounting principles. Basic knowledge of ASC 740 / SSAP 101. Experience in preparing tax returns. Exposure to state and local taxation aspects. Self-motivation and critical thinking skills. A desire to establish a professional network. The ability to lead a team of professionals. The base salary for this position ranges from $103,600 to $189,900, with higher ranges for specific locations.
