Provide a short description of the Position: NYePay is a multi-component system that replaces the process & cost of printing physical checks and mailing them to recipients. NYePay provides the ability to submit electronic payments for local districts to adoption subsidy recipients and child care providers. As part of Chapter 650 of the laws of 2021 amending Social Services Law 390-c, Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) is mandated to offer a direct deposit payment option for Child Care providers. This implementation provided an alternative method for Child Care providers to receive payments. This position plays a vital role in maintaining and supporting the electronic payments, working closely with the Bureau of Local District Services and Financial Systems to troubleshoot file and interface issues, and validate data accuracy. It also involves production support, managing exception handling, and collaborating with business teams to implement system enhancements that align with evolving program requirements. Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: 1. Gather requirements and develop enhancements to the NYePAY application to support multiple payments modules. 2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the existing application. 3. Maintain and support the interfaces with Benefit Issuance and Control Subsystem (BICS) and Facility Application and Management System (FAMS)/ Child Care Facility System (CCFS) 4. Monitor file processes, including BICS Payment files and ACH NACHA files, to ensure timely payments for Child Care. 5. Perform writing the complex stored procedures/triggers in an Oracle database 6.
