Job Description We are excited to welcome a Data-Analytics Sales Consultant to join Oracle's Public Sector team. In this role, you will partner with our Data Platform Account Executives to drive pipeline growth, accelerate deals, and achieve strategic victories within education and government agencies. Your deep knowledge in data integration, API management, ETL streaming, and analytics will empower institutions to transform their data into actionable insights, securely and at scale. Role Overview As a Sales Consultant specializing in Integration & Analytics, you will work closely with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to increase market adoption and secure new business. Your expertise will help translate public sector missions into tailored, insightful solutions to enhance constituent services, operational efficiency, and educational success, all while navigating the complexities of public sector procurement processes. Key Responsibilities Deal Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with Data Platform AEs to develop and execute pursuit strategies, qualify opportunities, shape project scope, and drive them to closure. Build Business Cases: Create compelling ROI and executive narratives that align with public sector goals such as improving services and efficiencies. End-to-End Sales Cycle Management: Lead the sales cycle stages including discovery, solution mapping, demonstrations, pilot programs, and contract negotiations. Pipeline Generation: Engage in targeted prospecting efforts, activate marketing campaigns, and reach out to new decision-makers within governmental and educational institutions. Executive Engagement: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and agency leaders, facilitating workshops and strategic roadmapping sessions. Public Sector RFX Expertise: Direct the RFI/RFP response strategy, ensuring alignment with purchase requirements and support for funding and contracting pathways. Cross-Functional Coordination: Align with Pre-Sales, Product, Consulting, and Customer Success teams to ensure governance and accuracy in the sales forecast. Thought Leadership: Develop reusable public sector use cases and reference materials, enabling effective sales strategies within the sector. Compliance Awareness: Align proposals with the required frameworks for data governance, security, and compliance (e.g., FERPA, CJIS, HIPAA). Focus Areas: Integration: Leverage Oracle Integration Cloud, API Management, and Data Integration tools to deliver seamless solutions. Analytics: Utilize Oracle Analytics Cloud for powerful reporting and data visualization. Collaborative Selling: Partner with Oracle Data Platform and OCI to deliver high-performance, secure solutions. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in overlay or specialist sales, particularly in integration and analytics within the public sector. Demonstrated success in collaboration with Account Executives to exceed sales targets, showcasing strong lead generation and negotiation skills. Ability to connect public sector missions to analytical solutions, quantifying value and creating executive-level business cases. Understanding of modern integration patterns and analytics architectures. Strong credibility with stakeholders and excellent communication skills. Proficient knowledge of public sector procurement processes, including RFI and RFP dynamics. Experience managing complex sales pursuits and maintaining disciplined pipeline oversight. Familiarity with cloud technologies and Oracle's product offerings is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, information systems, or computer science.
