Job Summary We are looking for a highly technical and customer-oriented Solutions Engineer specializing in AI Infrastructure to join our Advanced Growth Technologies (AGT) team. As a subject matter expert (SME) in AI data center solutions, you will play a vital role in supporting presales efforts by architecting, configuring, and advocating cutting-edge AI solutions leveraging NVIDIA DGX systems and complementary OEM (HGX) platforms. You will collaborate with partners, customers, and internal sales teams to translate business needs into optimized infrastructure solutions, including hardware configurations, Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, and performance recommendations. This role requires a deep understanding of GPU-accelerated computing, data center architecture, and AI workloads to deliver successful outcomes for our clients. You will assess customer data center environments, design customized infrastructure solutions that align with business goals, and provide ongoing technical support to sales teams and customers. Role Responsibilities Act as the primary AI Infrastructure SME, offering expert insights on NVIDIA DGX platforms and compatible OEM solutions for AI training, inference, and high-performance computing (HPC). Identify customer requirements through consultations, workshops, and technical assessments to draft tailored AI data center solutions. Develop comprehensive hardware configurations, including servers, storage, networking, and GPU components that ensure scalability and performance. Utilize Reference Architectures from OEMs to validate and recommend appropriate solutions. Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for proposed solutions, factoring in power, cooling, and rack necessities. Deliver engaging technical presentations, proofs of concept (POCs), and solution demonstrations to clients and internal teams. Provide best practices for AI infrastructure deployment, optimization, and integration with existing frameworks. Support sales teams by participating in customer meetings, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and addressing technical objections during the sales cycle. Collaborate with vendors (e.g., NVIDIA, other OEM partners) to remain updated on product developments and emerging technologies. Document solutions, create playbooks, and conduct training sessions for sales teams on AI infrastructure trends. Stay informed about industry advancements in AI hardware to refine solution strategies. Work with account teams to assess customer data center setups and technologies. Construct and propose infrastructure solutions that align closely with clients' objectives. Foster technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners, keeping updated on the latest product information. Provide training and technical guidance to sales teams and customers. Serve as a trusted AI advisor to customers, collaborating with field account executives. Manage the solution practice pipeline by developing strategies for top prospects and uncovering new business opportunities. Identify potential technology opportunities across Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services sectors. Develop solutions tailored to customers' requirements and budget constraints through strategic planning. Engage with various levels of client contacts, including CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs for comprehensive account management. Educate AGT and SHI teams on technical selling strategies, product training, and technology trends. Results-Driven: Set ambitious goals for the team and lead initiatives to achieve them. Required Skills Intermediate experience in complex Data Center sales and architecture. Ability to design infrastructures that include hybrid cloud and software-defined data centers. Familiarity with virtualization technologies and automation. Effective communication and selling skills for complex technical products. Strong knowledge of technologies from vendors like Dell, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix. Intermediate experience with disaster recovery and business continuity solutions. Additional Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. 5+ years in presales engineering, focusing on data center infrastructure and AI workloads. Proven expertise with NVIDIA DGX systems and GPU technologies. Hands-on experience with OEM AI server platforms and solution configuration. In-depth knowledge of data center components and creation of BOMs. Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences. Willingness to travel for SHI, Partner, and Customer Events. Preferred Skills Certifications in NVIDIA or relevant vendor technologies. Experience with enterprise datacenter technologies and solutions. Familiarity with AI software stacks. Experience in cloud-hybrid AI deployments or large-scale projects. Knowledge of AI Factory concepts and AI Cloud Providers. Strong customer-centric problem-solving abilities. The estimated annual salary for this role ranges from $100,000 to $250,000, including base and bonuses, and will vary based on experience and location.
