Description - What Your Role Will Entail Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols. Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any inconsistencies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments. Assist with specimen collection, as well as preparation of samples for testing as required. Keep concise documentation of all procedures, provide training to new hires or interns, and contribute to maintaining lab standards. Ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards. Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certifications Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within a year of joining. Maintain your certification throughout your tenure. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with healthcare teams. Able to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced or high-stress situations. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly regarding quality control and documentation processes.
