As an Actuary focused on Analytics and Forecasting, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and predicting financial and economic trends to provide insightful data that drives strategic and operational decisions. In this role, you'll establish essential metrics, conduct thorough data analyses, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bolster business intelligence. Your responsibilities will include evaluating industry and market trends to forecast the organization's financial landscape over the short, medium, and long term. You'll tackle diverse challenges, some complex, ensuring data accuracy by managing essential processes and controls around data flow and related modeling. Key responsibilities include: LTV/NPV Modeling: Enhance and maintain MA-IND NPV models, and innovate NPV modeling for CenterWell lines of business. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to conduct analyses that uncover valuable insights. Developing Assumptions: Align each line of business with their forward-looking 5-year plans through informed assumptions. Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform in-depth reviews of NPV modeling to extract insights critical for business applications. Utilize your expertise to impact the future of health. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree FSA or ASA designation, with relevant advanced degrees or professional qualifications MAAA certification Strong communication capabilities 4+ years of experience in finance, actuarial work, or financial modeling Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration across diverse functions Advanced proficiency in Excel and SAS/SQL Experience in at least two areas, such as modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving, or trending A genuine passion for enhancing consumer experiences Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Humana MA and/or CenterWell Experience in LTV/NPV modeling Proficiency with Databricks and/or Power BI Additional Information: This position is fully remote in the US. Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be necessary. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Range: The compensation range is a good faith estimate for starting base pay for full-time roles (40 hours per week) and may vary based on geographic location, qualifications, skills, knowledge, experience, and education. The pay range is $129,300 - $177,800 per year, and this role is also eligible for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.
