Sign Fabricator

The essential function of the position within the organization is to fabricate County street signs and signs for other County departments and municipalities. The position is responsible for ordering and maintaining work materials, operating sign shop equipment to create signs, maintain accurate records, and performing related tasks as assigned. The position works under general supervision according to some procedures; decides how to complete tasks. This position shall be required to assist with emergency support functions in the event of a declared emergency and/or any other emergency duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Requires high school diploma or GED with two (2) years of related experience. Forklift certification is required. Requires a valid Florida driver's license.
