The Role We are on the lookout for an experienced Lead Pharmacy Technician for our dayshift operations. If you're a pharmacy technician with a knack for leadership and enjoy problem-solving, this is your chance to shine! You'll be the source of support for your team, ensuring everything runs smoothly, even in the absence of senior management. What You'll Do Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians during 1st shift operations. Ensure that prescriptions are fulfilled accurately and on time while adhering to state and federal regulations. Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve workflow issues, quality control concerns, and prescription discrepancies. Lead effective handoffs between the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts for seamless operations. Maintain high standards of productivity, accuracy, and quality. Oversee scheduling, attendance, and performance evaluations for your shift team. Act as the primary contact for all dayshift operational matters. What We're Looking For At least 3 years of pharmacy technician experience with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role. PTCB certification is preferred but not required. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities. Ability to work independently and keep daily operations running effectively. Familiarity with pharmacy fulfillment systems, quality assurance processes, and compliance regulations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience.
