Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in a picturesque coastal community in California. This role involves delivering comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across all age groups, emphasizing preventive care, health promotion, and effective disease management. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; analyze results for accurate diagnosis. Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and specialized care to manage or prevent illness and injury. Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting. Discuss procedures, test results, and treatment plans with patients. Document patient findings, treatment plans, and follow-up notes in the electronic medical record. Supervise and direct professional and ancillary staff in patient care. Stay updated on current medical practices and advancements. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information. Education & Certifications: Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. California State licensure. Current DEA licensure. BLS Certification. Experience: 3 years of experience preferred; new graduates are also welcome to apply.
