Apply today!/ppWhat You Will Receive as a CNC Machinist I:/pulliPay: $28.20 + (Depending on Experience)/liliShift: Weekend, Fri-Sun, 5 am 5:30 pm, + 11% shift differential/liliDirect Hire/liliLocated in Newberg, Oregon/li/ulpWhat You Will Be Doing as a CNC Machinist I:/pulliOperates various secondary, manual machinery, CNC Machinery and performs activities within assigned area with moderate supervision (CNC Lathes, Vertical CNC Mills, CNC Brakes)/liliSet up, operate, and troubleshoot various manual and CNC machines, secondary machinery, and polishing equipment./liliPerforms routine maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning./liliSafely and efficiently routes parts using material handling equipment./liliInspects personal production, to achieve and maintain quality standards and may make recommendations for improvement./liliActively engages and participates in department continuous improvement efforts. Implements improvements to processes, programs, tooling, and fixturing./liliWorks collaboratively within the team to maintain a neat and organized work station./liliAchieves and maintains productivity standards, follows all safety guidelines, and maintains acceptable dependability level./liliUnderstands and completes documentation needed to comply with policies and procedures that are appropriate for the position/liliFollows safety guidelines, must not pose a risk to self or others, identifies potential safety hazards and initiates corrective action when necessary./liliActively participates in all department, quarterly, and company meetings./liliOther duties as assigned (refer to the job family and skills matrix)./li/ulpWhat You Will Need to Have as a CNC Machinist I:/pulliMust have at least 1-3 years of experience in machine operation/liliMust have experience in setting up and operating CNC Lathes and Mills (Fadals, Mori Seiki DV5100, and DMG Mori NLX)/liliPrevious experience in operating press brake is a plus/liliMust have experience working with Stainless Steel materials/liliAbility to interpret blueprints with a working knowledge of GDT/liliStrong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity/liliKnowledge of ISO procedures./liliDemonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles./liliAbility to perform math calculations with an understanding of decimal/fraction equivalence, geometry, and trigonometry./liliAbility to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise maneuver up to 35 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance./liliAble to walk, stand, sit, bend, reach, and occasionally kneel, climb steps, and twist throughout an entire shift./liliKnowledge of all tooling and material types used during production, including uncommon and unconventional tools, with the ability to alter tools to achieve desired results./liliModerate computer skills and ability to learn and understand ERP systems/liliDemonstrates behaviors and attitudes that emphasize and focus on permanent resolutions to problems and collaboratively work with other employees within work group to achieve goals/liliSome areas may be exposed to chemicals, noise, vibration, and/or dust, requiring the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, foot protection, etc./liliAbility to wear respiratory protection and comply with OSHAs respirator use requirements./liliAbility to pass pre-employment background check and drug test/li/ul/div
