Position Overview: The Restaurant Shift Leader is integral in inspiring the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service. When the General Manager is away, you will take charge of daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to create a rewarding atmosphere that celebrates both organizational and personal achievements. Train new Shift Supervisors and oversee the development of the team. Manage recruiting and hiring of hourly employees to build a strong workforce. Ensure optimal restaurant staffing to enhance customer service and maximize sales. Drive sales and profitability initiatives within the restaurant. Maintain cash controls and enforce all company policies. Oversee ordering, accounting, and maintenance of food and paper inventories. Ensure adherence to all safety and security procedures. Qualifications: 1-3 years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant or retail setting. Able to train and lead management staff effectively. Capacity to work independently with sound judgment. Flexibility to work varying hours. Strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent written, verbal, math, and interpersonal skills. Good organizational and time-management skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
