OVERVIEW OF POSITION: As a Customer Experience Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. Your role involves warmly welcoming and seating guests, efficiently processing payments, and collaboratively assisting service staff to ensure every visitor enjoys a remarkable dining experience. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcome and greet all customers promptly upon arrival, confirming their party size and checking for any special requirements, including high chairs or dietary needs. Handle payment processing efficiently following established cash handling procedures while ensuring customer satisfaction with food and service. Address any complaints or suggestions with care and professionalism. Assign seating to customers that aligns with their preferences and our restaurant's layout, while introducing and highlighting daily specials. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hostess station, ensuring an ample supply of to-go items and bakery products are readily available. Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism, taking to-go orders when appropriate to offer seamless service. Ensure a sufficient supply of clean menus is available for guests to enhance their dining experience. Provide initial beverage suggestions to guests and manage beverage orders and refills efficiently. Assist the serving staff with table cleaning and setup as needed to support a smooth operation. Proactively address customer complaints, escalating to management when necessary to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with all service personnel to maintain an efficient and enjoyable dining experience for all guests. Accountabilities: Customers must be greeted and seated in the order they arrive in a friendly and courteous manner, adhering to company standards for timely service. All guest transactions must be processed accurately to ensure register totals match at the end of the shift. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests. Exhibit flexibility and reliability in your work schedule. A true team player who supports colleagues and fosters a positive environment. Must possess sufficient physical mobility to operate effectively in the work environment. Capability to ensure that food is prepared and presented according to company standards. Comply with all local health regulations relating to food handling and safety.
