Become a vital member of our operations team as an Electrical and Controls Specialist. This role is crucial for the maintenance, diagnosis, and restoration of essential systems that power our industrial processes. We seek disciplined, self-motivated technical experts who excel in troubleshooting complex electromechanical and automated control systems. Key Responsibilities: Conduct maintenance and repairs on various control systems, including electro/pneumatic/hydraulic/digital/Drive systems. Utilize foundational electrical theories (such as Ohm's law and AC/DC motors) and instrumentation knowledge (including transmitters, valves, and solenoids) for effective troubleshooting of industrial equipment. Employ critical thinking skills to diagnose and rectify faults in automated control systems. Read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and loop sheets to ensure operational efficiency. Operate various measuring and testing equipment (such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and digital meters) for system diagnostics. Provide support for round-the-clock operations and collaborate with the maintenance team across shifts as necessary. Commit to all safety protocols and best practices, including Electrical safe work practices (NFPA-70E). Qualifications: Education/Experience: Associate's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent military/technical training, OR at least one year of related industrial experience. Technical Expertise: Proven ability to understand complex technical instructions, procedural manuals, and engineering drawings. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities with a track record of defining complex issues, gathering relevant data, and drawing sound technical conclusions. Work Ethic: Flexible and open to working on swing shifts and overtime as operational demands dictate. Experience in a challenging, dynamic environment is highly regarded.
