Key Responsibilities Leadership: Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development. Process Management: Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Invoice Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while resolving discrepancies and issues as they arise. Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to optimize payment processes and negotiate favorable terms. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable, providing insights to senior management for decision-making. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the accounts payable function. Metrics Management: ensure we have in place or develop the proper tools and metrics to measure individual and team performance Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and finance, to ensure alignment and compliance with organizational goals. Work Environment Physical Demands & Work Environment: In-office role Standard business hours with occasional extended hours during month-end close or audit periods. Collaboration with field teams and periodic travel to branch locations as needed.
