Education Requirements Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing. Work Experience Required: None. Certifications Required: Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area. Key Skills and Abilities Proficient in using computers and various software applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Good organizational and time management abilities. Demonstrates sound judgment. Job Duties Utilize the nursing process efficiently in patient care delivery. Assess and implement teaching strategies tailored to the diverse needs of patients and their families. Communicate effectively while managing nursing team resources and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team. Use data and knowledge to assess and promote necessary changes for optimal patient outcomes. Enhance customer satisfaction and foster a positive work environment. Adapt communication to respect the unique needs of different patient populations. Perform additional related duties as required. This position may require heavy lifting, with the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally. You will frequently encounter exposure to bodily fluids and tissues, working directly in a patient care environment.
