Join our team as an Educational Clinician / Learning Tutor at Lindamood-Bell Learning Center! We are looking for passionate individuals deeply interested in education, teaching, literacy, child development, tutoring, or academic support. No prior teaching experience? No problem! Lindamood-Bell provides comprehensive paid training, instructional materials, and all necessary equipment. We welcome diverse candidates for this entry-level on-site position—remote work is not an option. Your Key Responsibilities: Deliver personalized one-to-one and small-group instruction to in-person students. Document student performance and progress while executing engaging lesson plans directed by Learning Center leadership. Use positive reinforcement strategies to elevate learning outcomes. Facilitate the use of curriculum tailored for Lindamood-Bell Academy students. Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and colleagues to foster a positive learning environment. Maintain accurate client records, both handwritten and electronic. Position & Schedule Highlights: This role is performed exclusively at the Lindamood-Bell® Learning Center located in Del Mar, CA. We are hiring for both part-time and full-time positions starting in March. Availability is required from Monday through Friday. Learning Center operational hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Schedules may be adjusted according to the needs of the Learning Center. Paid training typically occurs Monday through Friday for two weeks, 8 hours per day. Part-time employees may work less than 30 hours per week, while full-time employees will generally work 30 hours or more weekly. Internship credits may be available. What We're Seeking: We prioritize transferable skills and a genuine willingness to learn. Our training ensures your success as an Educational Clinician / Tutor. Required Qualifications: Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, early childhood education certificate, or currently enrolled in a degree program (students are encouraged to apply). Passionate about helping others succeed academically. Able to connect and engage with students of all ages while effectively managing instructional sessions. Strong skills in reading, spelling, and comprehension. Basic computer proficiency. Preferred Qualifications: Experience helpful, but not essential: Tutoring, teaching, or classroom experience. Background in education, child development, or literacy. Experience working with children or students.
