In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for growing the market share for our advanced Point of Sale, Payment, and Customer Engagement technology solutions at top convenience store chains. Your goal will be to meet and exceed your sales quota by building strong relationships with key decision-makers in your target accounts. What You Will Do (Job Responsibilities) Establish and cultivate relationships with 'C' level decision-makers at leading convenience retailers. Gain insights into their needs and motivations for our technology solutions to optimize your sales strategy. Develop a comprehensive understanding of our Retail Solutions portfolio, including: Passport Point of Sale, featuring advanced self-checkout and ordering systems. Innovative payment solutions, including cutting-edge indoor and outdoor payment terminals. Insite360, our cloud-based management toolset. Forecourt media product offerings. Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas for your territory. Create detailed sales plans to drive both short and long-term growth. Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets to align with growth objectives. Collaborate with our industry-leading distribution channel to identify target customers and present compelling proposals. Communicate and advocate for Gilbarco Veeder-Root's strategic initiatives, demonstrating how they provide value to retailers, distributors, and consumers. Utilize salesforce.com to manage your sales funnel and forecasting through opportunity analysis. Maximize profitability in your accounts through effective negotiation and pricing strategies. Who You Are (Qualifications) 5+ years of experience in a sales role with proven success in meeting sales quotas, ideally within the retail segment. Experience in the petroleum and convenience store industry is an advantage. Track record of effective funnel management and sales forecasting. Excellent negotiation, customer focus, and presentation skills. A results-oriented individual who excels in competitive environments. Creative thinker who is willing to challenge the status quo. Proficient in using CRM systems, especially Salesforce, to support your sales process. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for customer meetings and industry events. The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $125,000, with an on-target earnings potential of $250,000 through uncapped commissions.
