Your Impact: Enhance AI-generated medical documentation by analyzing clinical workflows across diverse healthcare settings, ensuring the quality and relevance of SOAP and Progress Notes. Collaborate with experts in Applied Science, Engineering, and Product Management to clarify model requirements and establish comprehensive evaluation frameworks for automated workflows within EHR systems. Utilize your experience with EMR platforms like Cerner to pinpoint user challenges and deliver impactful solutions that enrich the clinical documentation process. Key Responsibilities: Review and refine AI-generated medical documentation from various clinical environments (ER, outpatient, hospital) to boost accuracy and utility. Employ statistical techniques to conduct thorough analyses of AI outputs, driving improvements in the quality of automated healthcare documentation. Partner with Applied Science and Engineering teams to fine-tune model prompts, ensuring high-quality clinical documentation. Create and implement assessment frameworks to validate and enhance the quality of AI outputs, fostering continuous improvement in healthcare solutions. Investigate the relationship between clinical data standards and EMR systems to encourage interoperability and support AI-driven insights. Qualifications and Experience Required: Deep understanding of medical terminology, clinical workflows, and documentation standards within ER, outpatient, or hospital settings. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of presenting complex clinical insights clearly to diverse audiences. A minimum of 3 years of experience in roles such as medical scribe, clinical documentation specialist, or similar, with a focus on healthcare data analysis and optimization. Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth). Familiarity with healthcare data standards like SNOMED CT and ICD, alongside a passion for using AI to enhance clinical documentation processes. Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, computer science, or relevant experience; advanced degrees or partial medical training is advantageous. Understanding of healthcare coding systems (SnomedCT, ICD 9/10/11) and compliance standards like HIPAA. Experience in clinical documentation roles, such as medical scribe or clinical documentation specialist, is highly valued. Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $29.42 to $60.63 per hour, amounting to an annual salary between $61,200 and $126,100, with potential for equity participation.
