Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP / AMT)Position: Full-Time, evenings or nights available, 40 hours/week Lab Department Overview: Join our high-energy department that utilizes a state-of-the-art automation line, Epic Beaker, and SoftBank LIS Systems. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II, you will play a crucial role in our team dedicated to delivering exceptional laboratory services and contributing to cutting-edge advancements in healthcare. MLT / MLS Responsibilities: Perform complex laboratory procedures across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results. Analyze and interpret laboratory data, maintaining high standards of quality control and assurance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities. MLT Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Technology or related field. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through ASCP or equivalent accrediting agency. Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIS) such as Epic Beaker and SoftBank is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
