Blood Bank MT / MLT - ASCP We are seeking a detail-oriented Blood Bank Medical Technologist/Technician to join our dedicated laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex testing and analysis of blood and blood products, supporting transfusion services and patient care. Pay: $62,664 - $88,342 Schedule: Evening or Night Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and specialized blood bank testing, including ABO/Rh typing, antibody screening, crossmatching, and compatibility testing Prepare, store, and issue blood components for transfusion in accordance with established protocols Investigate and resolve transfusion reactions and discrepancies in blood typing or antibody identification Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and performance Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including AABB, CAP, FDA, and CLIA guidelines Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Clinical Laboratory Science Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by ASCP, AMT, or an equivalent accrediting body Blood Bank Specialist (SBB) certification is a plus State licensure Strong knowledge of immunohematology and transfusion medicine This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and make a significant impact on patient care.
