As a Personal Banking Consultant, you will receive in-depth training on UMB's offerings, the sales methodology, and how to present effective financial solutions. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with UMB leaders who will mentor you. How you will spend your time: Engaging customers with personalized inquiries to transform routine transactions and account maintenance into opportunities for deeper relationship-building through cross-selling. Generating sales leads through proactive outreach, visiting local businesses for workplace banking solutions, and establishing a network of referrals. Meeting your daily performance metrics while managing multiple priorities effectively. Understanding and executing processes like transactions and managing a cash drawer, ensuring compliance with industry and legal standards. Performing other relevant duties as assigned. You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and clearly explaining product features and benefits. You possess a high school diploma or equivalent. You have at least a year of relevant experience in a retail setting, where you've successfully engaged with customers to make sales. You have reliable transportation and can work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings. You are able to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days. Target pay: $20-21/hr Compensation Range: $29,530.00 - $65,380.00 The compensation range provided represents UMB's standard for this position; actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience level, and job-related factors. This range does not include the full potential earnings for this role.
