Easterseals MORC is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician - SRS to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and support to individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. This role focuses on engaging individuals in a trauma-informed, empathetic manner while conducting diagnostic and functional behavioral assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing short-term therapy and crisis intervention, and coordinating care with internal teams and community resources. Licensure: Must hold one of the following Michigan licenses: LLP (Limited Licensed Psychologist) or LP (Licensed Psychologist) LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) LPC ( Licensed Professional Counselor) Experience: Meets Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) qualifications per Michigan Medicaid PIHP/CMHSP guidelines. Knowledge of co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proof of a Valid MI Drivers License and Auto insurance with your name listed as an insured driver. Essential Job Functions:Engagement & Assessment - Engage individuals in a welcoming, empathetic, and trauma-informed manner, even during crisis or acute phases. Conduct functional behavioral, diagnostic, and strength-based assessments to identify mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Evaluate symptoms, risk factors, and interactions between disorders, and identify relapse triggers or immediate safety needs. Treatment Planning & Intervention - Develop individualized, person-centered treatment plans with stage-specific interventions that integrate mental health, substance use, and co-occurring care. Provide short-term therapy, crisis intervention, group or individual counseling, relapse prevention planning, and education to individuals, families, and support networks. Encourage engagement with community supports, peer programs, and prescribed treatments. Collaboration & Case Management - Serve as a member of diagnostic and treatment teams, collaborate with internal and external providers, and link individuals to community resources and supports. Perform case management functions, coordinate care across systems, and act as a liaison with schools, vocational programs, and other agencies as needed. Documentation, Compliance & Administrative Duties - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Authorize medically necessary services, ensure confidentiality and data security, follow all agency policies and schedules, and use provided technology to complete work effectively. Teamwork & Professional Contribution - Foster a positive and inclusive team environment with remote and in-office colleagues. Participate in meetings, training, and team-building activities. Manage time and priorities independently while maintaining a professional and productive work setting. Additional Duties - Complete other tasks as assigned to support the mission of Easterseals MORC and the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services.
