Job Summary The Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy, conducts patient assessments, develops individualized care plans, and collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Schedule Monday-Friday Eight-hour day shifts No weekends Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans Provide medical nutrition therapy based on physician orders and diagnosis Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition interventions as needed Educate patients and families on diet modifications and healthy lifestyle choices Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and healthcare team members Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility nutrition standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare as a Registered Dietitian Active North Carolina Dietitian license required Registered Dietitian credential required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition Preferred Skills Strong clinical decision-making abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Why Clinton, NC?
