Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that target fluency, articulation, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities. Engage with a multidimensional team of healthcare professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to ensure a unified approach to patient care. Provide insightful education to patients and their families to support ongoing progress outside the therapy environment. Participate in inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions when needed to provide comprehensive care throughout the recovery process. Ensure precise and prompt documentation aligned with all regulatory and organizational standards. Stay informed on the latest advances in speech-language pathology through continuous professional development and collaboration with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of hire. Skills Expertise in evidence-based practices for clients of all ages, demonstrating a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired disorders related to speech, language, and swallowing. Outstanding interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and diverse care teams.
