JOB SUMMARY The Catering Services Specialist plays a crucial role in creating an exceptional dining experience by efficiently delivering and serving food and beverages to guests through our TueGo or Catering Delivery Service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Welcome each guest with warmth to ensure a memorable dining experience that encourages future visits. Answer phone inquiries with a positive and service-oriented attitude. Guide guests through various food, beverage, catering, and promotional menus. Gather necessary details for processing TueGo/Catering orders, including name, delivery location, and contact information. Accurately take guest orders and input them into the MICROS system. Carefully package orders following Ruby Tuesday recipes, ensuring all requested items are included. Uphold high standards for food and beverage preparation and presentation. Provide an accurate guest check, manage payments, and complete transactions swiftly and efficiently. Perform side work and maintain a tidy and organized TueGo, Catering, and Delivery area. Direct guests with large catering orders to the dedicated Ruby Tuesday Catering Team. Deliver and set up catering orders punctually as per the agreed timeframe. Take on additional responsibilities as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent. Willingness to work extended hours when required. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 pounds. Comfortable operating equipment such as coffee makers, POS systems, microwaves, computers, telephones, and various kitchen tools. Physical capability to reach overhead, carry catering cooler bags, and manage items of varying temperatures; able to bend, crouch, and communicate effectively with team members. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto liability insurance for the delivery of catering orders. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This role necessitates regular attendance and the ability to stand or walk for long periods. Key physical tasks include hearing, speaking, walking, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, balancing, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The job may involve exposure to temperature variations and frequent use of hands in water and cleaning solutions. Specific vision requirements include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
