Firearms Assembly Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Assemble firearms in accordance with written instructionsUtilize arbor presses, hand tools and other instruments to assemble firearms according to written instructionsMaintain safe work practicesMaintain production ratesMaintain overall quality standards for firearmsUtilize labeling software and tools for identification of all firearmsTest firearms utilizing a variety of test ammunitionPack firearms/kit contents per instructionsMaintain serial number integrity of firearmsSort customer returns when requiredDiscard trash and dunnage from sorting operationTest returned product to determine current condition using a variety of test equipmentRepair product to acceptable statePackage recovered product using a variety of cartons and packaging materialsMaintain records of defectsMaintain all documentation as it relates to PWHS/RA processMaintain cleanliness of areaMaintain safe working practices and conditions• Follow instructions as neededComply to work standards set for each operationAll other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalentBasic knowledge of air guns, airsoft or firearms or mechanical aptitudeAble to communicate issues clearlyBasic Computer SkillsMust have ability to work under minimal supervisionMust be task oriented – Use time wiselyWork well with all other departmentsAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
