Job Full Description Welder - Solano County $25.00 - $30.00 Monday - Friday 5:00am to 1:00pm + OT as needed TIG WELDER AND PIPEFITTING EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED! Primary Duties: Assemble parts and components using MIG, TIG, ARC, and Oxygen Acetylene welding techniques. Perform basic layout and fabrication from drawings and diagrams. Operate tools and equipment including cutting torches, power saws, grinders, cranes, drill press, and forklifts. Suggest and build approved fixture designs. Promote and maintain shop safety. Perform other duties as assigned across the company. Work Environment: Primarily shop-based with occasional outdoor work exposed to the elements. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a fabrication shop. Welder's certificate or ability to pass Barriers' weld test. High school diploma, GED, or vocational technical training preferred. Proficient in blueprint reading and shop math. Ability to work independently or in a team. Strong organizational skills and adaptability. Forklift training desirable. Must be able to read and comprehend English.
