POSITION DETAILS Home Time: Enjoy the comfort of being home every weekend, with 2 full days (48 hours) off to relax and recharge. Typical Schedule: Flexibility to be home Friday night and return Sunday night, or arrive home Saturday morning and head back Monday morning. Equipment: Take the truck and trailer home (please ensure you have secure parking available as parking fees will not be reimbursed). Freight: Drivers will only take an empty trailer home - no freight is permitted. Average Miles: Expect to drive between 1,900 to 2,200 miles each week, allowing you to earn competitively. Freight Type: Focus on direct transit expedited freight with 40% of runs occurring during night hours (between 9 PM and 5 AM). Driving Requirements: Must be adaptable to both day and night driving, ensuring proper rest periods to maintain safety. Freight Handling: Enjoy an 85% drop and hook operation with 100% no-touch freight, freeing you from lumpers or unloading duties. Average Length of Haul: Typically 400 miles, with additional compensation for shorter loads (0-100 miles = $35, 101-400 miles = $25). REQUIREMENTS Valid Class A CDL: A minimum of 9 months driving experience, which includes 2 months of winter driving. Flexible Driving: Must be able to drive both during the day and at night, adapting to varying schedules.
