Summary Supports the enrichment after care program at the summer enrichment program site; guides the development and implementation of a program for student security and supervision that fosters a safe environment and positive school and community relations; supports various aspects of student activities. Qualifications Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor?s degree in law enforcement, or a related field plus four (4) years of progressively more experience in safety and security and certification by the Virginia Center for School Safety, required. Knowledge of local county, and state rules and regulations requiring an alcohol-, drug-, weapons- and tobacco-free environment; knowledge of student safety and conduct; ability to enforce those regulations; ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, parents, and the public. Applicants must be at least 21 years old at time of appointment.
