Job Description Summary As the Supplier Recovery Executive Leader, you will spearhead the Supplier Recovery organization, enhancing supplier performance through structured problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is pivotal in developing strategies and leading efforts to collaborate with our top suppliers, ensuring effective resolution of issues and improved SQDC performance. Your expertise will drive enterprise-level problem-solving to address the root causes of supplier challenges, fostering their success. Your mission is to activate FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace's proprietary lean operating model, while serving as a coach to guide the organization in executing supplier recovery activities. This position requires over 50% travel to engage directly with suppliers on-site as necessary. Essential Responsibilities Act as the face of GE Aerospace with our suppliers, building strong relationships to achieve outstanding results and meet customer expectations. Earn the authority within our supplier network and among GE Aerospace experts, contributing effectively to project teams. Develop and implement a comprehensive supplier performance strategy that aligns with business needs. Monitor supplier performance against established KPIs and actively problem-solve to alleviate constraints. Assess supplier capabilities, pinpointing improvement opportunities and initiating development plans. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product lines, quality assurance, and procurement, to lead supplier development projects that promote process optimization, quality enhancements, and cost efficiencies. Establish operational frameworks like THE WAY WE WORK with suppliers, emphasizing systemic problem-solving. Implement FLIGHT DECK across the supplier network, leveraging the Supplier Quality & Delivery partnership plan to proactively improve supplier performance. Serve as a master coach to cultivate a team of lean practitioners within the Sourcing organization. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. A minimum of 8 years of experience in materials, production planning, or business management. Desired Characteristics Strong coaching and listening skills. Proven experience in supplier management and development. Expertise in supplier relationship management and negotiations, with the ability to influence peers and senior leaders at both the supplier and GE Aerospace levels. Extensive experience with FLIGHT DECK/Lean deployment and a track record of delivering results; skilled in structured problem-solving and daily management practices. Operational leadership experience that prioritizes SQDC outcomes. Experience managing global manufacturing site workforce considerations. Demonstrated history of successfully integrating lean principles to address complex business challenges and drive strategic improvements, utilizing a senior leader's perspective on key metrics. Leadership experience in large organizations, with a proven ability to attract and develop talent. A collaborative approach to delivering lean objectives across business functions. Proven ability to coordinate matrix activities to achieve customer and business outcomes effectively. The base salary for this role ranges from $180,000 to $300,000, influenced by factors such as experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. Applications will be accepted until December 19th.
