Company: enGen Job Description: JOB SUMMARY Candidate must be US Citizen, OnShore (due to contractual/access requirements) We are looking for a skilled Senior Application Developer with extensive experience in Informatica technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the Informatica suite, including Informatica IDMC, Informatica SaaS MDM, Informatica CDI & CAI, and Informatica REF360. Proficiency in on-premise Informatica tools such as IDQ, MDM, and PowerCenter (PC) is required. This role entails a solid understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) principles and a background in MDM match rule development, along with collaboration with data owners and stewards on data quality initiatives. WORK LOCATION Candidates should reside within 50 miles of Pittsburgh or Camp Hill campuses, as on-site work from Tuesday to Thursday is required; otherwise, remote work options are available. This role involves leading the development of complex application services in both project settings and support roles. Developers will analyze, design, code, test, and implement innovative solutions that align with Highmark IT standards. You will also provide comprehensive application support to ensure systems meet customer expectations regarding service levels, system availability, performance, and quality. Mentoring and guiding less experienced team members is an integral part of this role. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of complex application enhancements with a focus on minimizing defects in ongoing production support. Engage in the full system development life cycle following Highmark SDLC standards. Collaborate with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT team members to gather business requirements that drive effective technical solutions addressing complex business needs. Provide necessary technical support, including release implementations and on-call support when required. Ensure compliance with all Highmark and Highmark IT standards, policies, and procedures. Contribute actively in various project roles, encompassing Developer, Technical Lead, and Project Manager depending on your experience level. Communicate clearly with team members, customers, and management through technical walkthroughs, status updates, vendor solution facilitation, and detailed documentation. Perform additional duties as assigned. EDUCATION Required Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field Preferred Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field EXPERIENCE Required 5 years of experience in development roles Familiarity with Project Management tools Experience working with databases Knowledge of multiple programming languages Preferred Experience with Informatica IDMC Experience with Informatica SaaS MDM Proficiency in Informatica CDI & CAI Experience with Informatica REF360 Hands-on knowledge of On-Prem Informatica tooling (IDQ, MDM, PC) LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS Required None Preferred Relevant certifications (e.g., JAVA Developer, DB2, Cognos) SKILLS Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and issue resolution skills Demonstrated leadership capabilities Experience in the Healthcare or Health Insurance sector Familiarity with application development tools and the Highmark enterprise software development life cycle Language (Other than English): None Travel Requirement: 0% - 25% PHYSICAL, MENTAL DEMANDS, and WORKING CONDITIONS Position Type Office-based Involves teaching/training others regularly: Occasionally Travel from office to various work sites: Rarely Physical work site required: Yes Lifting: up to 10 pounds: Constantly Lifting: 10 to 25 pounds: Occasionally Lifting: 25 to 50 pounds: Rarely Disclaimer: This job description provides a general overview of the nature and essential duties of work performed.
