As a Junior Human Resources Business Partner, your days will be varied and engaging, focused on aligning business goals with the needs of our employees and management in designated divisions. You will act as a trusted consultant on various HR matters, including policy interpretation, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Collaborating closely with HR leaders, you will help devise strategies to support growth, foster a positive workplace culture, and enhance organizational effectiveness. Throughout your day, you will provide support to managers by giving advice and coaching on people management challenges, guiding performance management, career development, and disciplinary actions. You will identify the unique HR needs of the business, crafting tailored solutions while ensuring compliance with legal requirements in collaboration with the legal department when necessary. Key responsibilities also include managing essential HR processes such as onboarding, employee engagement, compensation, and offboarding. Under the mentorship of senior HR partners, you will conduct thorough investigations into employee relations issues, working toward fair and objective resolutions. Your role will focus on cultivating a motivated and engaged workforce while promoting retention through effective communication and HR programs that align with our organizational goals. Who We’re Looking For. If you possess the following skills and qualifications, we want to meet you: Bachelor's degree in human resources or organizational development, or relevant HR experience required. 3-5 years' experience in resolving employee relations issues is essential. Familiarity with various HR disciplines, such as compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications. While not required, the following qualifications are a plus: Experience in the insurance industry. SHRM or HRCI certification.
