As part of the Outback family, you'll take on the role of a Culinary Specialist, where your primary focus will be on preparing, portioning, and cooking an array of delicious food items that meet our high quality standards. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy an AUS-SOME dining experience through your passion for cooking and commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities: Prepare a variety of food items from our extensive menu with speed and accuracy, taking pride in each dish you create. Work efficiently in our spacious kitchen, which includes positions in Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill, and Kitchen Prep. Maintain equipment and uphold cleanliness standards in your work area. Collaborate with team members to meet preparation and delivery standards for food items. Adhere to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation protocols throughout your shift. Prepare food using the right safety equipment, tools, and recipe specifications under management’s guidance. Practice food safety and sanitation consistently, and restock kitchen supplies as necessary during your shift. Requirements: Ability to lift and move items up to 30 lbs and work in varied temperature environments. Capable of walking, standing, or bending for long periods while performing essential duties. Vision capabilities include distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision, with an ability to adjust focus.
